ALBERTINE THE PERSON resides in Sammamish with her husband, their chatty cat, and more plaid textiles than she knows what to do with. A former fashion writer, she enjoys negative space, deep lakes, symphonic rock, cloudy skies, highway headlights, brisk wind, bay windows, all things tartan, a great piano ballad, and raindrops on glass.

She has written for PurseBlog, Kenneth Cole, and a range of indie magazines. Her photos have been featured by a diverse spread of organizations, including the The Atlantic, Travel + Leisure, Houston Public Media, Olympic National Park Lodges, Seattle Met, the Washington Trails Association, Washington’s National Park Fund, and The Northwest Symphony Orchestra @ Benaroya Hall. Additional written work has appeared in publications sold at Elliott Bay Book Company and other west coast bookstores.
